Elder Crafting & Lore

Elder Crafting and Lore class includes time in the actual garden! Class will include discussion of Elder fairy lore, identification, the multitudinous things one can do with elder (flowers, berries, canes). We will be harvesting, preparing berries (tedious…much more fun together), and processing a pint of elderberry syrup for taking with! Herbal focus on the medicinal properties of elder, dosing, and appropriate use.

Session includes:

Elder tea from the garden • Elderberry syrup • Elderberry herbalism lesson •  Literature (a new zine to add to your collection) • Q & A • New Friends of Like Mind! 

Note: We will assemble at Rabbit Stew and, if possible, caravan over to the property of our resident herbalist, Cris Fellows. In addition, a liability clause must be signed before course participation.
